Belfast Marks Israels Year of Shame With Day of Actions.

Activists from across Ireland marked the grim one-year mark of Israel's most recent violence launched on Palestine now spreading to Lebanon and beyond. People are angry, and rightly so.

One of the cities to mark this occasion across the globe was Belfast, Ireland were activists from across the Island took part in a day of actions from the sit in at BBC studios to the motorcade to Caterpillar industrial estate the message was clear stop the white washing cease the support & complicity in this genocide & report the facts of the situation.

To date the BBC has failed to adequately cover what has been happening in Palestine with vague headlines “5 people died in Northern Gaza” or that “Children died in Al Mawasi” why did they die? How did they die?

The fact that the BBC continues to skirt around the edges of the genocide in Palestine one year on speaks volumes about their principals or lack thereof.

The activists made their way to Queens University & then onto the Kennedy center in West Belfast to pass on signatures collected from the local working class communities where the shopping center is situated.
